Using Plex (8.28.0.30077) for Android (12)
What has happened to these functions?
Podcast Settings
Each Podcast has a couple settings. You can access these via the preference menu on the podcast show preplay (not episode preplay).
- Order by Newest or Oldest first
- Change playback speed default for that show from 0.5x to 2x
Specifically the option to set a sort-order?
The only options I see in the preference menu now are: Remove, Shuffle, Play next, and Add to queue.
What client are you looking at?
On Plex Web, go to the podcast, then click on the … menu and there is a settings option. Those options are there.

Apologies if I’m mistaken, but am I just imagining that those options used to be available on the mobile app as well?
No, you can’t manage content with the mobile apps. You have to use the Web client for that.
