Hi guys happy new year !
I have a problem when i try to share my server with my sister in their PS4.
I send and invite (she have a free flex account) then after accept the invite try to logon in the PS4 (as this point the PS4 is in the same physical place than the PMS that i try to share) but she got a message that is need to install a PMS to have access to movies or TV shows
she can’t see the server.
I try to use the option “sharing” and even create a user in “Home Users”
I can connect with out any issue with my account in the same PS4 so there is not a network problem
What can i do ? any ideas ?
My plex server have a green in Remote Access.
I had the same issue trying to share out with my wifes sister. Ultimately, i unded up having her bring her roku to my house, and logging into it with my own information. Did this about 8 months ago and she has never had an issue since. I dont know if this is an option your ok with, but it does work.
I try to log mi user in their PS4 and works great.
The problem is when she try to logo on she can’t see the server and i still got the status that the invite is pending when she already access it
is really frustrating
I’m having issues being able to login on to my own server on any PS4 including my own. I have Plex Pass and updated apps on both the computer and PS4. It works great on other computers, phones, (apple and android) and pads but the App in my PS4 (the main reason I wanted Plex Pass) it doesn’t seem to be able to find the server, even with my being right next to it and logged into my account. Anyone find a fix for this?
