Last year towards the end of 2024, I purchased the Plex Pass. So this was before the price jump. Between that purchase date and somewhere around the last update in Feb or Mar for the Plex mobile app for Android I was able to download my movies from my server to my android phone and watch them off-line where ever I was. I had no issues at all. Then the app did an update and since then, I can no longer stream my downloaded movies. They download fine, but when I go to play it says “Error Occurred Source Error”. I am using a Samsung S24 Ultra, Client Version 2025.22.0(966828456), Platform 15 on android mobile. Again, it all worked fine until that app update. There is nothing wrong with my videos or my server. It has to be either the update, or Plex wants me to pay the new price in order to stream downloads. Which if that’s the case, then it’s not gonna happen. Because I don’t trust it to work if it can’t work now. Please tell me that is not the case.

There should be a couple more Plex client updates available on your Samsung.
Did these downloads roll over from the old app? I’ve seen issues with this. Re-download 1 video and see if that one works.
After I posted my issue, I went into the android store and there was an update for the app. IT’S WORKING NOW!!! I knew it had to be that update I did months back. Now all my movies play offline again. Thanks for you guys trying to help. Appreciated.
