I keep getting requests to update but it will not update; numoerusous issues.

Very early on - and I consider this a new installation as I’ve only been using it since mid December - a software “loop” (need update, attempted updated, update fails, need update, etc…) required me to “skip an update”: that was my only option if I wanted to use Plex.

I’ve since received a couple of notifications to update. Each time they fail. Plex indicates that it successfully downloads the software - and then states the “Server” is installing an update… Grab a cup of tea. That message never changes - ever.
It would be good to get the update mechanism to work - because after a few Windows updates they might be necessary.
Is there a manual way to do a Server update “in place” - so all settings etc., are kept?
