Can't use iPad app to start shuffle of all music tracks in PMP on Windows computer

My music library and the PLEX server are on a Windows 10 laptop. I start PLEX Media Player (PMP) on laptop and then I use the PLEX app on iOS iPad to control music file playback on PMP on laptop (music PCM goes from laptop to HT receiver via HDMI).

When I try start a shuffle of all music tracks in music library from the iPad app it only plays a single track and then stops. Also, when i hit the “next track” icon in iPad app it simply starts the track from the beginning even though i pressed next track. But when I start the shuffle all tracks in PMP on Windows computer, it shuffles just fine and the “next track” icon works as expected. Why is this?

Also, if I start the shuffle all tracks in PMP on Windows computer I can then use the iPad app to click on the “next track” icon and it works just fine (it shuffles). I just can’t seem to start the shuffling from iPad app when it is controlling PMP on Windows laptop.
