FileBot goes to the real TVDB.
Plex uses it’s TVDB Proxy.
As noted previously when TVDB is down I can’t get matches from the Plex Proxy - so I’m not sure what poisoned pond those two cows are drinking from, but it’s killing them both.

instead of me starting a new thread for something I already asked… I thought id bring this back up. I am now using PlayOn to record shows… and so far file bot has been working great until now…
and it also seems playOn recorded them and named differently that what is listed on the tvdb site…
thoughts?
The show folder name would be Dirt Every Day Extra (2016)
2016 because this was the year when S01E01 of this show was published.
TheTVDB uses the year as season number. (How your season number 28 comes about, is a mystery to me. Because, according to the data sources I’ve seen, this show doesn’t run since already 28 seasons.)
So the correct file name for the first episode of the current season would be
Dirt Every Day Extra (2016)\Season 2019\Dirt Every Day Extra (2016) - s2019e552
If you switched to the ‘Absolute Order’ (episode numbering, in the properties of the show, on the ‘Advanced’ tab), the episode numbers would be the same, but the season number would become 01
for all seasons.
Quite confusing.
ok, thx…
yeah im confused too as PlayOn recorded it and named it that way. I will give a try, hopefully tomorrow as I am busy tonight.
where am I doing this part?
" If you switched to the ‘Absolute Order’ (episode numbering, in the properties of the show, on the ‘Advanced’ tab), "
‘Edit’ the show at its top level within Plex.
