Plex + Chromecast

Hi all -

I recently configured a new Raspberry Pi 3 to run Plex Media Server. I intend to use this with my Chromecast. All media is stored on a mounted external drive which is recognized by Plex.

Whenever I try to play a video in my webplayer I get “There was a problem playing this item.” And whenever I attempt to cast it says "Failed to cast ". However I can play videos through the plex app with no problems.

Anyone else have these issues?

Why is this in the Rasplex section, Rasplex is a Plex client, suggest you ask in the Linux section under ‘I have PMS running on a Raspberry Pi’.

Or one of the mods might move this post.
