Hi
Looking for some help, I recently moved my PMS from a PI to Windows 10, everything is now setup and running but I noticed that if I go into a Movie or a TV Show the icons for who appeared in the show/movie just shows a circle with the initials of the actor.
I am sure it used to have a picture for most actors, any idea what I can do to fix this? I have tried cleaning bundles, optimising database, ensuring the folder has the correct permissions.

If you have mp4 / m4v files among your collection,
go to
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
If you are using TheMovieDatabase as your primary agent for the movie library, go to
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMoviedatabase
and make sure that the line ‘Plex Movie’ has its checkbox activated
In the properties of the Plex Movie agent (the little ‘cog wheel’ icon at the end of the line in the agent settings)
set the’ Cast list source’ to ‘The Movie Database’
After doing 1 - 3, ‘Refresh Metadata’ on one affected movie.
Thanks I already had that as my settings. I tried unticking and re selecting the options but no change the cast still shows as initials and not a picture.
Please post the Plex XML info of one affected movie.
