Cast thumbnails are lost on the Mac client, and logs cannot be downloaded to PC and Mac Firefox

HI,

my first problem is that from my Mac client “Plex” I can’t see the thumbnails photos of the Cast (for both Movies and TV Shows). From my “Plex Media Server” client on Mac and from Plex clients on PC and Fire TV the thumbnails photos of the Cast are visible.

My second problem is that from Mac Firefox browser I can’t download the log file. I manage to do it using Chrome and Brave instead.
From a PC, on the other hand, I cannot download the log file from Firefox, Chrome or Edge.
In cases where you are unable to download the log file the error is as follows:
“DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”.

Do you have any idea how to solve the two problems? Thank you.

Hello! A fix is being worked on for the missing cast images (Plex for Windows/Mac not loading cast images since update - #16 by Atomatth). Thanks for your patience on that one.

I just solved this problem by disabling the VPN connection. Evidently plex.direct does not accept connections through VPN servers.
