Plex for Mac (desktop player) - recently fails to playback

Since about a few weeks ago playback in the mac player has stopped working on some media. That media can be played via browser, it can be played via a samsung tv app too. It can even be played with the legacy Plex Media Player (on a mac). But not the “updated” Plex for Mac. I would be happy to try with an older “plex for mac” but i can’t find older releases for download.

I have re-installed the server as well as the client.

Playback does not start, only shows a spinner. It has been working fine with earlier versions. The following logs are on the server

By the by, I can reproduce the spinner here on a file with the same container and codec. No need for logs, I’m my own patient.

Alrighty, sorted out msmpeg4v3 handling. It didn’t make the 1.12 release cut but please be on the lookout for it in 1.13.
