Casting to Sonos issues (again!)

Casting to Sonos has been behaving itself since I replaced my router. Today it only playing about 30 seconds of the track and then connection gets lost. Anyone willing to take a look at my PMS log files to see what’s happening? Or anyone else experiencing this today?

Many thanks

Hi @Abbaskunk,

I’m seeing the same with my speakers, across Plexamp and Plex for iOS apps. Any chance you could share your server logs with me?

I’ve raised it internally and will get back to you when I know more

This has been all over the shop since about 24 hours ago. The queue doesn’t appear to suffer as much disruption with Plexamp disconnected. Controlling with Plex for Windows the mini player disappears every few seconds and returns again a second or so later.

Seems to be an awful lot of “We’re going to try to auto-select a subtitle.” going on, with no sign of any video playback.

Hi thanks for your response. Please see logs attached.

Well as if by magic playing is back to normal this morning currently no drop outs this morning!

No such joy here. Just finished work and connected Plexamp for Android and it’s complete chaos. I might have to reconnect the Chromecast Audios and put up with gaps for a bit.

I’ll add that after the update to 3.5.0 Plexamp - Windows and Android - appeared not to recognise the queue when playing Tidal albums on Sonos - endless spinning circle on the now playing screen.

The issue is being investigated, and as far as I can tell is not related to any particular client. I was able to reproduce with Plexamp, Plex for iOS, and Plex Web. Hopefully we’ll have a resolution soon! Appreciate your patience in the meantime. I’ll keep you posted.

And thanks for the logs, I’ll get them to the devs!

The issue has been resolved, Sonos is back up and running again now.
