CC display requires toggle off/on from on to work

Server Version#: 1.26.0.5715
Player Version#: iOS 8.2 iPhone 11 Pro
Plex live tv from HD brand tuners. Have to toggle CC from on to off then back on again to display captioning which is a bit annoying. Android plex does not require the extra two steps.
