I am having a very similar problem with 26.0.5715. I thought it might be resolved because an ad hoc recording worked fine, but it is still failing on my scheduled shows. In fact, I just got back from being out of town and the problem remains. I turned on debug level logging before I left and am looking at logs now. I don’t see an obvious problem in the log, but the final file doesn’t show up in the library. I am using commercial removal. Happening on 60 Minutes for sure and maybe still on The Late Show (not sure because set to record new shows and they are repeats this week).
