CGTV player transcoding EAC3 to OPUS for no apparent reason

Up until recently the Plex player had been direct playing EAC3 streams on this device. No hardware was changed. My PMS was at 1.29.2.6364 until I updated to latest a couple of weeks ago—since then I’ve started noticing this transcode behavior.

I have nothing against OPUS, but the transcode is causing playback to be interrupted with buffering. I’ve tried toggling between audio passthrough options but none of them makes a difference.
