I saw that for some movie a bad poster is shown.
If I enter the “identify” menu the movie is detected correctly.
How can I ask (to agents I suppose) to propose me (or take) a better movie poster?
I’m running plex on a Raspberry Pi2.

I mean, the movie is detected correctly but sometimes the poster is a film frame instead of the poster.
I “redetect” the movie accessing to its details, choosen the same “Movie” as was detected automatically before and the poster become the correct one
If you’re not using a file name Plex and Agent recognize anything is possible. There could also be a bug in the ignition sequence inside Plex. All these similar posts smack of more than just bad naming, but I use proper naming 100% of the time and have used ‘Fix Incorrect Match’ about 3 times in 5 years. Everything I add is matched instantly and fully populated with an extremely high success rate.
Check the year. I’ve had this happen to me more times then I can remember. Check on themoviedb.org for the year.
imdb and themoviedb don’t always agree on the year it was release.
Oh ya, sometimes the movie is found but has no poster because there are none online to retrieve.
I set as default IMDB and Italian for the agent and now almost all of my movies are detected correctly

I’m having a problem where the fanart version of a poster is downloading instead of the original theatrical poster. themoviedb has the original theatrical poster showing, and my library is set to ’ ’ for language (blank) to make sure its looking for the original release date and poster.
Any ideas how to make sure the original theatrical poster is downloaded instead of fanart?
