Is it possible to manually set a episode number, without editing the files? I have a case where a file is named S02E0102, which plex identifies as episode#102 of season two, instead of #01 and #02 of season two. I realize that the correct way to name the file would be S02E01E02, but renaming is not an option. Is there any other way to do it?
No, the correct way to name the file would be:
TV Show Name - S02E01-E02.xxx
Renaming is pretty much the only way to fix it - unless a big old ‘Edit’ might do it.
You can’t Fix Match at the episode level either. So it’s probably going to be an ‘Edit’ or you’re just going to have to rename that file.
