enabled rows are now controlled on the server and show up on home screen based on which libraries are pinned.

I have a floow up question. Well I have them in the order I like on the server. However when I access Plex from the web, it’s not in order. In fact there are many more sections than I would like. And there does not seem to be a way to remove them.
Now when I do go down and click “more” and I can see the server that I want to access, and when I click on it, it shows the sections in the order I want.
So with that being said, is there a way to get the web app to default to that server, instead of having to always go an select it from the “more” option?
what isn’t in order? Continue Watching will always be on top but if in web you pin your movie library first then the recommended rows you enabled for you movie library will show up first ( after CW)
the recently added and recently released section on the home screen. I have this same issue on an nvidia shield as well. I have 3 different servers. A windows machine (the issue I am having this problem on and two nvidia shields where I also use them as servers. I will list the issue as best I can.
All I want on my home screen is recently added movies and recently added shows at the top. For some reason when I get it to display this way, something goes wrong. So now it shows the following
continue watching - which is supposed to be there
recently added in anime movies - I dont want it
recently added in chick flicks - I dont want it
recently added in childrens movies - dont want it
recently added in disney - dont want it
recently added in movies - I want this there, but at the top, under continue watching
recently added in anime - I dont want it
recently added in cartoons - dont want it
recently added TV shows - I want it, but at the top under recently added movies.
that is how it’s displayed. And What it used to do is this…
recently added movies - it would grouped all movies in from each library where or not it was animie, childrens…etc, as long as it was listed as a movie in the library, it would show under recently added movies.
the same thing would apply for recently added TV shows, no matter what it was, be it a cartoon, anime, it did not matter, as long as the library was a TV show, it would list anything I add as a TV show under recently added TV shows.
This is all on my windows machine. And you cannot remove the sections you don’t want, nor move them around.
I have this same exact issue on the nvidia shield when trying to do this.
Hopefully this all makes sense.
is “recently added movies” the top most things you pinned? they follow the order you have them pinned.
I would also make sure all your servers are updated to 1.22.3

And this is when I click to edit the home screen and none of it lines up with my home screen when I log in on a chrome browser on another PC
now what I want to ask is, on my server PC, I have the libraries in a specific order on the left, and does that order effect the home screen? It seems like it is.
yes as I said above the order of the the rows is determined by the order they are pinned
say fo your movie library you have the “Recently Added” and “Recently viewed” for the home screen in the manage recommendation settings and in that order
and for your Anime library you have " Recenly Added" and Recently released" for the home screen in the manage recommendation settings and in that order
then on the home screen you have those libraries pinned in the order
Home
Movies
Anime
the hubs would be in the order

Recently Added Anime
Recently Viewed Anime
if you are seeing “On Deck” at all then you are likely using an old client. ( for the web app make sure to use https://app.plex.tv)
“On Deck” isn’t found within the client, but in the server settings where you edit your pins for the home screen
can you please show me a screen shot of this
that editing method is not used anymore change it back to Automatic. if you are seing it then that is an old web app. use https://app.plex.tv.
I assumed that was my issue. there are two different menus I need to adjust instead of the one. thanks
that is weird because this was the app I downloaded and installed to windows. and it puts an icon in the system stray. it updates and everything.
and my last question is the nvidia shield. I have no idea how to move the libraries around. when I go to the pins, it only allows me to unpin from the sidebar. they’re all updated too.
i think I figured it out lol. you dont have to mess with the actual pins. i was going into the “more menu” again lol

the hosted web app at https://app.plex.tv ( currently version 4.56.3) will almost always be newer than the one at IP:32400/web ( currently 4.54.5) .
I know there are folks who use the local one because they have custom domains or whatever but functionality will almost always be newer on hosted one.
