Wow, I changed my password and now my server is unaccessible no matter what I am trying. I am so frustrated. Why hasn’t this been resolved? Someone please, please help
Changing your password removes the Plex Media Server from your account (it signs you out).
You need to re-claim the server.
From a system on the same network, go to http://server_ip_address:32400/web. For example, if the IP address of the server is 10.1.2.3, go to http://10.1.2.3:32400/web. You should be prompted to sign in and claim the server. Skip any steps about adding media/libraries/etc.
If you are on the server itself, you can go to http://127.0.0.1:32400/web or http://localhost:32400/web.
Write back if you run into issues. Need to know PMS version (1.30.x.yyyy, 1.31.x.yyyy, etc) and platform (Windows/Linux/Docker/etc).
