Server Version#: can no longer see this
Player Version#: can no longer see this
Hello,
Somehow I have been logged out of my plex server. When I log back into Plex on the web it doesn’t show my server at all. It is just as if I have just created a new Plex account. There is
My stuff is still there - I can see and play the files on my host computer - but there is no server listed.
I see my account in Plex but no server at all.
Where do I go from here? None of my guests can access anything from their side either.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am at a loss. I must have somehow missed
Well I have done the first steps of shutting down Plex and then deleting the registry keys mentioned in the article.
The next step which requires me to launch a local version of the web app where both links take me to the following error message.
" This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect."
so now not only am I locked out remotely but when I try and sign in locally - with the app on the host computer - I get the “Error encountered while retrieving hubs” message. So now still nothing.
any more suggestions? I had tried
Then try the IP.
Otto,
I am not sure I understand you reply.
do you mean put my ip address in place of the number in front of :32400/web? because I tried that several times and each time it just comes back with “this site can’t be reached” error.
Are there any other suggestions?
Sorry, I meant the IP equivalent of localhost
: http://127.0.0.1:32400/web
Otto,
again I appreciate all the help. I consider myself well versed in computers having worked with them/built them for years.
I still don’t understand your last suggestion.
So I go ipconfig to get my ip address and then somehow put it in front of the “http://127.0.0.1:32400/web” ? I don’t understand.
Again thank you for trying to help me.
I did not mention ipconfig
.
Just put this address into your web browser’s address bar.
OttoKerner,
I did put that in the browser. When I do i get the " This site can’t be reached" error message.
Does the web browser run on the same computer as the Plex server?
If it does, this points to Plex server not running at all.
Look into the log folder, manually, and search for the newest Plex Media Server.log
