Hello I require some help, I’ve had Plex for almost a year working fine and stream to my LG TV which has the Plex app installed.
I recently updated my pc to
Intel i9 9980xe
2080ti
I have my content on a 8tb HDD that I took out of my old machine into my new one!
Since doing this I couldn’t locate Plex server, so I deleted that server and installed a new server on my new pc everything went fine all libraries sync and back to normal only now when I watch any video on my TV I get 480p quality sometimes 360p when you’re watching on a 4k TV looks very bad.
I’ve done alot of work trying to figure out the issue change settings I’ve never had to before and noticed the server can’t be reached outside connect on the romote connection tab which I tried to connect without success I’ve done everything on the support page like port forwarding turning off and on Upnp etc…
I’m not worried about watching my videos outside my connection I only watch my staff on my own connection but the quality is an issue why am I getting this?
I did get a message saying you not directly connected to your server streaming quality maybe effected.
Any help is appreciated please note i have top spec pc and best internet
