No. I have my plex app on 3 different computers. Mac, Macbook Air and 2008. My mac is currently the main server. I want to make my macbook air the main server.
tom80H’s link to the “Move an Install to Another System” article should be exactly what you need. Follow the steps exactly and plan for a lot of downtime. Zipping & Unzipping the Data folder can be a big job. Makes copying it easier though.
The iMac will be the “Source” system and the MacBook Air will be the “Destination” system.
