Channel list is wrong - how to fix?

A couple weeks ago my channel list went “bad”. The labels of two channels are swapped, so when PLEX thinks it is recording a program on channel 12, it is really recording on channel 15.

I am using an HDHomerun. The guide data is correct. It is the channel list that is wrong. Silicon Dust is able to correct my channel list in their set-up app, but Plex appears to go and get the channel data direct from (Comcast I suppose?), which is bad.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I think you should be able to fix this by remapping channels to the correct guide data. This can be done in the servers settings.

The weird thing is that the info on the right column is correct, but the call letters on the left are not. I can’t change the call letters (channel 12 in snapshot). For whatever reason, PLEX I guess looks at the call letters and not the right side column to do recordings. It records channel 15. If I uncheck 15, it goes and records another higher channel (not 12). Sure has me puzzled.

EDIT- I guess this may be a guide data error. I filled out the report form. Silicon Dust was able to do a patch that makes their software work, but apparently PLEX does not read the HDHR config. I reported the bad channel 12 label to Comcast tech support, as it shows on their web site too.

Try reporting the problems to Plex/Gracenote here:

Turned out to be a Comcast error that they eventually are fixing. Two of the four bad listings are working now. They are moving channels around.
