Channel Listings and Accurate Recording

Hi, I’ve setup Plex DVR with an HDHomeRun Quattro in the UK. It’s working well so far even on a Raspberry Pi 3 but there are a couple of issues I’d like to report.

  1. I’m in the Leeds area of the UK and there is a local channel called “Made in Leeds” on channel 7. I receive the channel fine but when setting up the channels, on the left I see “Made in Leeds” but on the right hand side I can only match it to the equivalent number 7 channel in another part of the country (“Estuary TV”). This results in the listings all being wrong but I cannot find any “Made In Leeds” option to match to get the correct listings.

  2. Accurate recording. The over the air signal in the UK transmits the actual start and end times of programs (in addition to the scheduled times) and DVR devices use this to ensure non of the program is missed. This caters for early/late starts as well as early/late finishes. This doesn’t appear to be supported but really needs to be. It’s like going back in time having to use fixed time padding and it’s really annoying having to forward through a recording to get to the start of the actual show.

Thanks
