Hey, I just finished installing my antenna and I ran a scan. It found 14 channels where HDhomerun finds 15. Also one of those channel is mixed with another. On the Channel 40 which is CHOT in Canada, ottawa, when I tune it I get channel 34, CFGS but channel 34 is not found in the scan. Is this a bug or a known issue?
EDIT:
I found out by tailing the Tuner Logs that it actually find 15 channel but the configuration gui only show 14. It also mixes the channel 40 and 34.
Thanks for replying. My server version is 1.13.1.5063. I use the Beta branch. You can see here on the picture that the channel 34.1 is missing however in the ch_34_and_40.txt you can see that the scan finds both channel 34 and 40. How ever after the setup channel 34 is actually tuned when selecting channel 40 and channel 40 cannot be found. Plex Tuner Service.txt is the entire log since my last reboot. thanks
I’ve had the same issue all along since DVR started, no responses to my other posts.
The scan was for the tuner showing 22 (during the scan it showed 27 found).
I know that Channel 11.1 is broadcast by the same station as 14.1, 11.2, 11.3
Channel 14.1 shows up in the scan but is actually 11.1. 11.1 is missing from the scan.
I can’t tune to the real channel 14.1.
I’ve attached an .xml export of the channels from NextPVR from the same computer, which does work to tune to all the channels in case that helps in determining the issue.
Well, I’ve also got the channel data from plex. It found both Channels, but the tuning data looks identical other than the number (11.1 and 14.1).
The only difference I see in the NPVR data is the physical channel number ( 11 and 14). The triplet data is the same. I don’t see where in the plex data the physical channel is even identified other than maybe “14<” and “11<”
Update:
I changed the first number in the triplet on channel 11 from a 0 to a 1. Just to have something different. This allowed both channels to appear in the guide in plex. They both work properly as well. It seems it’s just that plex hides the duplicate triplet channels.
