Check for TV show intros

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3876
Player Version#: 4.50.1

I just moved my Plex server from my sons PC to an older iMac. I’ve got everything moved over and working. Except Plex hasn’t detected the tv show intros. Is there a way to force check? I tried analyzing the tv show library with no change.

I believe selecting Analyze under the … menu will force an Intro check.

I’ve tried doing that, I can go to the settings after clicking on analyze. It runs through the files and just shows finished processing them.

I’m going to delete the Tv shows and re add them and see if that’ll work.

The Skip Intro analysis is done for newly added media and/or as a scheduled job depending on your respective configuration under Settings > [Server Name] > Library > Generate intro video markers. Clicking Analyze for a single show or season will manually trigger the job for that particular show or season.

Therefore… re-adding the show from scratch will trigger it – however check your server configuration beforehand!

That makes sense. I’m re adding my tv show library now. I bet that’ll fix it. Since it will be newly added now.

It looks like re adding the library is going to work. It showed detecting intros. So I’ll wait a while and try it out.

Still no luck with it marking the intros to be skipped. Maybe its just something with my iMac. It’s a 2011, so its stuck with High Sierra for the OS.

After the latest server update, the skip intros is working for me now. Thanks everyone.
