When casting from Android (14) via Plexamp or the Plex android app onto a Chromecast with Google TV (4k), audio file playback stops after typically between 6s and 80s. After which the file continues to play but the TV displays “Ready to cast” or “Something went wrong”. Trying to recast or play another file the android apps will load the UI, but not populate it and keep a loading wheel indefinitely.
Sometimes this is linked to the phone being cast from going to sleep, but other times it happens while initially trying to start playing files or at random while the phone is open and active on Plex.
Typically I just stop using Plex when this happens, but I’d really like it to work as intended, as it’s my primary source of music listening.
