Still not working for me either. Gen 1 Chromecast.
Same issue for me here. Chromecast doesnt crash, connects ok from plex web but nothing playing. After a while you get a message saying There was a problem with the playback of an item
I have however found if I cast from youtube and then stop casting and then go back to Plex it works. This only started happening since I upgraded to 1.32.5.7349
I’m having the same issue. casting Plex loads for a few seconds then crashes.
It does not happen on my older HDMI Chromecast, but does happen on the built-in Chromecast in my Toshiba Cast TV, which is the only one of the 2 capable of HEVC/x265.

Now the connection to Chromecast with Plex stays but video still won’t load. It tries loading for 2 minutes and then I get the error ‘Sorry! Something went wrong’.
