I recently set up live tv and I may having the exact same issue. I am able to cast it for about 10 minutes and then the chromecast crashes. I am using Android and a second gen chromecast.

I cant get casting to work for Live TV at all. the chromecast just says āSorry! Something went wrongā
this is on all of my Chromecast devices: Chromecast Ultra, Google nest Hub Max
casting already recorded content works just fine
Any news from anyone at Plex on this? Iām really disappointed that casting Live TV from my DVR doesnāt work. I use Chromecast on all my TVs so this is a pain for me!
