Just curious has anyone been using this setup yet? I seen a video on youtube of a guy with a chromecast plugged into the hdmi in on the XB1 and streaming plex to it from his smartphone.
There wasn't much info in the comments so was wondering has anyone got some more info on it?
I've been using my Chromecast on the Xbox One while waiting for a native application to come out. However, there seems to be some streaming issues with MKV using this method. About a minute or so in to playing the content, the video will freeze.
This option looks promising, but seems to have a few bugs.

I use this with no problems, the majority of my content are in .mkv and I have never had a problem. I think the problems other's might be having is because they are running their PMS on a underpowered NAS that simply can't handle transcoding to the Chromecast. I built my own nas with XPENOLOGY and a Intel Core i5 and I have never had a single problem with the stream. The only MAJOR FLAW I can think of is that somehow Plex managed to release a media player app that doesn't support content queueing, so when you are done watching whatever it is that you are watching, you will then need to pick up your phone, unlock it, make your way through your library, and then CAST the next video to Chromecast.....Extremely infuriating to say the least...
