I recently had my account recovered from a hacking attempt and now have no server access. Ive seen on here that i probably need to reclaim my server and i have tried some of the quick fixes but they havent seemed to have worked for me. Does anyone have any input that can help?
what version of notepad are you using? im having trouble trying to save the file as a .reg file.
There is only one version of notepad.exe. The one that comes preinstalled with Windows.
If you can only save a .txt file, simply rename it afterwards and change the file name extension to .reg
This whole process is a bit less confusing if you enable the display of file name extensions in the properties of Windows file explorer.
