I reset my password and now my library is gone.
Plex server is on the same windows machine.

now what? I removed some credentials from the registry and restared window.

okay I did all that now I just get this screen in the plex app:

plex server is installed and runing. In that oterh article on how to reclaim a server it says on click of the plex server icon some prompt should show up. but there is nothing happening.

Select Open Plex.... (This is not a new option, it was already there.) When the server is unclaimed, this action will now open the default web browser and forward you to Plex.tv to sign into your Plex account.

nope. nothing of that sort has ever happened.

I uninstalled everything and reinstalled plex server and the plex app. nothing changes. the plex ab doesn’t recognize that plex server is installed and running localy
