I have just purchased a ClearstreamTV Device, and when I add the IP Address to the DVR Setup it used to say it couldn’t find a device, then I updated to Plex 1.15.1 and now it states "There was a Problem Adding the Device : 192.168.0.53 which is my ClearstreamTV… is this not ready for prime time ? am I missing a plugin, I can’t find any firmware on Clearstream’s site… How is this supposed to work ?

Did you ever get this to work? I am also having issues getting my Plex server to find the clearstream device.
Nope, I ended up sending the ClearsetreamTV Back to the seller, and getting a HDHomerun, Used for $43 Shipped of ebay or so… so to me I didn’t want to spend more than the Clearstream for something I was experimenting with. But I could never get the Clearstream to show up as a device, one thing that was odd, is I was either using Firefox, or Chrome, and it couldn’t find the HDHomerun, and I don’t know if it hadn’t properly initialized, but when I switched to the other it started seeing it. So worth a try to see if Plex can see clearsetream with a different browser, which I had originally not thought of… But I’d think chances of that working are low…
Same here… I called Antennas Direct - after an hour of troubleshooting with their engineer, they shipped a new one… now I have 2 Clearstrem TV devices and neither one is seen by PLEX. Stay away from this device with PLEX… it is working fine using their own software but I wanted it strictly for Plex use so it is useless to me.
So what Clearstream does not tell you is they released a firmware update on 4/1, that without the update Plex will not see the device.
I had issues even getting the device to upgrade. I would push the upgrade button and the device would never actually update. It would reboot without updating.
Well after 4 or 5 tries to update, it finally did update. After that it was seen by Plex and worked just fine.
So YMMV, but after the update things went very smoothly.

The firmware version needed is 1.1.0.412r1-V1 . I am told their iOS app released today prompts you to update.
I had the same issue about forcing the update. I stuck it out and it finally updated and now actively connects to my 5 GHz network. I was lucky enough to grab one at WallyWorld marked down to $55, but at reg it rang up $35!
i got one from walmart to it has a weird way of updating it downloads update on your wifi then has you connect to it own wifi like during setup then hit next then it says updating. then it works on plex.

I initially experienced the same issues with my Clearstream TV tuner. Here are the steps I took to get the Clearstream TV tuner working with Plex.
Clearstream TV Tuner - update to latest firmware 1.1.0.414r1-V1 (or later).
Plex Media Server - manual update to latest firmware version 1.16.5.1488 (or later).
The latter was the step I had been missing. Once the latest Plex Media Server firmware was installed (it needed to be downloaded as a .spk file and then manually installed on the synology diskstation via “Manual Install” function in Package Center), the ClearstreamTV tuner was immediately recognized within the Plex DVR Setup.
