When Plex announced support for the Clearstream devices, I hopped right on it, however, the documentation is nonexistent, and I am not able to get Plex to find the Clearstream device.
Both are on the same network and set up properly, as I can watch TV from the android app.
If I try to add the IP address manually, I get an error saying “There was a problem adding the device”.
I see one other topic having this same issue, but no replies.

This error shows up in the console log:
DVR:Grabber: No tuner key exists for device, couldn’t obtain device status.
Also in the console logs, it is trying to get http://192.168.2.xx/discover.json and getting a 400 error and a json parse error, invalid value.
If I go to that URL from the plex server I can see a page, but it only returns the text:
/discover.json
Sounds to me like something is messed up on Clearstream’s side.
Edit: I opened a ticket with clearstream, it appears that my device is not updating firmware properly.
Got this fixed. My issue was the firmware was not updated on the Clearstream device.
Even though I told it to update firmware multiple times, it would simply reboot and not actually update it’s firmware.
After a few more tries, it did update it’s firmware and it was then able to be discovered.
