Click through to collection in web UI // mod: Open collection by clicking on collection hub

When browsing movies and viewing the main movie page (through recently added for example) I can see that a movie is in a collection.

My feature relates to adding the ability to click into the collection to manage it. For example if I’m looking at the movie Terminator I can se that it is part of the Terminator collection created by Plex. My issue is that to get into the collection I have to go out of the movie and into the main movie library to manage the collection.

If we could click on Terminator Collection and be taken to the collection page that would be great.

I took the liberty to amend your suggestion title to make it easier for others to find it and vote for it.

Your suggested change:
Clicking on a collection hub header (e.g. on a movie home page) should open the collection instead of filtering the library by that collection.

Yes!! This applies also to the new implemented feature. Would be nice to click on our collection-made hubs’ titles at the home screen and be taken directly to the actual Collection page, so we see the collection poster, description, content, related movies etc etc. Neat look, isnt it?
Definitely vote this one!

I feel like to used to work, anyone know why this feature went away?
Seems like an accidental removal of an obvious navigation feature.

I use this feature to see collection members from other libraries.

Clicking on the hub title of a related collection (e.g. Movies in XYZ collection) will apply a filter to the library, showing the items of that collection in that library. If this was ever different, it’s been a very long time ago – nothing that’s just been removed.
