Clicking on Library under search results results in "You must be lost"

When using the IP address plex server if I search for a musical artist which belongs in multiple libraries, I will see the name of the library under the search result.
But if I click on that link I get the “you must be lost” error.

However, if I click on the library title on the standard left hand side menu, it goes to the library correctly.

I think it could be related to another issue I have which I haven’t found a solution for which is to do with the same artist existing in multiple libraries but not coming up correctly in the app.plex.tv page:

Any help would be appreciated.
I am running this on a Synology NAS using the plex docker. The plex server is not setup for remote access.

Do you experience the same if you’re using the hosted web app?

No because the Artists are consolidated on the hosted web app (see attached pic).
So the library name is not listed.

BUT the consolidated artist list has a different though possibly related issue where the library name listed under the consolidated artist are all the same though they actually link correctly to the 3x libraries.

Anyone? I’d love for this to be fixed

When did you last refresh the metadata of that music library?

Yesterday. It’s always being updated/refreshed.

I am running 1.21.0.3744 which is an old version BUT that’s the latest version for the plex package on Synology NAS.

And this bug didn’t used to exist as it used to behave correctly.

well… that version is dating back to December 2020 – so upgrading it might be worth a shot

That’s the latest version for the plex package on Synology NAS.

And the bug didnt exist before. I do wonder if anyone else is having this issue with later versions.

And the Syno package center still allows manually updating apps

Oh!!!
I assumed they were a different build and I wouldn’t be able to simply grab the latest from the website and manually install!? That’s awesome news if I can… will test on the weekend. Thanks for the heads up.

Just make sure you get the package for the right version of DSM and the correct NAS architecture (e.g. Intel32/Intel64/ARM…).

@tom80H you made me day/week/month. I manually updated the synology plex app, and it has fixed the problem. YOU ARE THE BEST!
