Cloud Sync not working properly - Sporadic, Glitchy

Any response?  Where are these guys?  I had my Plex Cloud/Dropbox sync up and running just fine until lately I'm getting the "waiting to be uploaded" issue.

Same thing for me

Plex Devs > Could you fix it please ???

I've cancelled my Plex Pass for now, until it becomes at least more useful than the chocolate kettle it is now.

In order to be able to investigate Cloud Sync issues like this, we need to be able to see log files. To do so, please:

1. Enable [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201643703)

2. Restart your Plex Media Server

3. Create a Cloud Sync job for a single item

4. Let it try to go through the processing then upload process

5. Grab the "Plex Media Server.log" file and attach it here

Without log files, there's basically no information to go on.

I upgraded to PlexPass for this feature too.  According to google drive, the files are being uploaded - then deleted when the next file is uploaded.

Again, without log files we have nothing we can actually investigate. See earlier post.

I followed your instructions, here is my Plex Media Server.log

According to Google Drive, the mp4 file was created, deleted, created, deleted and so on

Thanks Chris, I've added the log as requested.

Im seeing this in the debug log.

Both of your logs indicate that you're running into a [known issue with Google Drive](https://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=5124). Basically, there's an issue where uploads that take more than an hour to complete can fail and then the upload is attempted again. This occurs even though we're we exchange the refresh token well before the hour time frame. We're still investigating this and working to get it resolved with Google.

I have the same issue here, too. The upload is starting and after a while at will be stoped and later restarted. The result is high amount of uploadtraffic and no file in the cloud.

Please make it work, cause this is a importand feature to me with a regulare upstream of 1Mbit.

As stated several times, we need logs to be able to look into things. See the [post above](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/107856-cloud-sync-not-working-properly-sporadic-glitchy/?p=674273).

I too am having this issue. Plex keeps trying to upload the same file, which fails at 5% every time. I'm running version 0.9.9.10.458-008ea34.

Plex Media Server.log (42.6 KB)

I am also having 2%, 3% on/off sync issue and duplicated file error with google drive.
Please see attached log file and help me on this.

I am using win7 32bit and plex server version Plex-Media-Server-0.9.912.504-3e7f93c

What you attached is a log of the Plex Web App, which isn't useful here, unfortunately. Please instead get a [Plex Media Server.log](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201643703) file that covers the Server starting and you attempting a Cloud Sync job.

Hope this  is the correct one.

Your log indicates that you're running into Google's bug with their token expiration. See the [earlier post](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/107856-cloud-sync-not-working-properly-sporadic-glitchy/?p=675258).

You could try lowering your sync quality setting to produce smaller-sized sync files that can hopefully be uploaded within the time limit.

Noted Chris, thanks. I've no issue with uploading for high quality short clips.
My mission is that wanted to upload good quality 1080 movie to enjoy watching remotely with friends.
Hope to hear a good news from you soon. :)

Updating because I recently upgraded my B.Band connection, and my upload speed has increased by almost by 6x

And now the Plex appears to upload files fine.. nothing has changed on the Plex side so it must be to do with upload speeds..

If you're using Google Drive as your provider, at least, that would be consistent with the [known issue](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/115154-google-drive-upload-issues/).
