CloudSync to Google Drive Not Uploading

Even after upgrading I’m still having the same problem. In fact I kicked off another transcode and it’s still showing “Waiting for Upload”

Plex Media Server.2.log:Dec 21, 2017 14:24:58.934 [0x7ff57fbff700] ERROR - CloudSync: Error 404 requesting XML from http://127.0.0.1:32400/sync/2384ba85-64da-4c72-a41c-5caacc6d7a92/4962b25f0dbe83843474e00179a0c36a7916b23e

I’m on the latest plex pass release and same problem for me, a bunch stuck waiting for upload

@ChuckPA Any update on the bug?

Experiencing same inability to upload anything to Cloud Sync, though transcode goes fine, so “Waiting to be uploaded” errors.

I am using Dropbox, and even after unlinking, deleting all queued items in Plex, deleting folder in Dropbox and then relinking, still the same issues. This is one thing I see in the log files:

CloudSync: Error 404 requesting XML from 192.x.x.x

I tried 1.10.x Release and 1.11.0.4633 Beta, and still same issue on Mac PMS.

Same issue here.
Subscribed Plex Pass yesterday and tried to sync to my Google Drive, but never get succeed by following error:

Dec 29, 2017 23:17:35.777 [4328] ERROR - CloudSync: Error 404 requesting XML from http://127.0.0.1:32400/sync/a27b8e77-36e8-4699-bc1b-d80127a6aa0e/d174a0bcc953a27d99ef1468c7915cc51523b3f9

All items are stuck at ‘Waiting to upload’ state.

I manually uploaded files and add them on Plex Cloud (not cloud sync), no issue at all.

I don’t want to kill your enthusiasm guys … but I’m having that exact error since more than a year. Of course Plex didn’t fix it yet.

fwiw, I was able to use cloudsync without issue using google drive until sometime in november when it broke

And the update hasn’t fixed it. WTF Plex?

is it only google drive that seems to be affected?

This issue occurred several times over the last years (check the search function on this forum).
Obviously there is no real interest in fixing it.

I tried connecting other web services like dropbox and box.com but it’s still the same issue. Transcoding works fine, uploading does not.
To make sure there is nothing wrong with my installation, I tried syncing a folder from my other WD Drive (Wireless Pro) and got exactly the same result. Converting works fine, uploading does not. So it cannot relate to a bad software version or something like that. WD MyCloud Ex2 is running on latest beta (Version 1.11.0.4666) and WD Passport pro is running on the latest official Plex (Version 1.9.7.4460)

By the way: I use goodsync to keep my content in sync with my google drive and use Plex Cloud as a work around. Plex cloud works fine with all web services, including google drive. It just sucks that they took away the support for amazon drive.
But I would also prefer Cloud Sync, as it is way more convenient than manually syncing content to my google drive every time…

@Plex team…we pay for this service so why the F^&k are you ignoring us ? Google Cloud sync has been broken since November, so our paid for service is broken. Please credit us 2 months of Plex pass and each month this remains broken.

If this issue is with Google and not Plex then have the manners to tell us, and what you/we can do about it.

Bumping this as I’ve tried everything in previous discussion threads and gotten nowhere.

+1 still a problem for me as well

Ouch …

Still not working here either. About 2 months of downtime with this Plex Pass only core feature.

@reded23 This just doesn’t happen with Google Drive. I have tested it with Dropbox and get the same error in the logs.

Yet another issue where getting any form of support is virtually impossible. For a product that people pay for the technical support is absolutely shocking, I’ve stopped recommending Plex to people for this very reason.

As I have previously requested, May I again request a FULL set of logs ?

I would like:

  1. Debug logging level
  2. Recreate the issue
  3. Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs
  4. Upload the ZIP file presented

I can’t see what’s happening when only presented with log excerpts.

There is considerably more going on as well but this is a sample.

  1. Missing metadata
  2. Missing file(s)
  3. I see Sync activity (transcoding) for preparation to your devices (e.g. smart's iPad and KFDO***)
  4. There is no sync transfer… the devices are snoozing.
  5. I see where it sync’s and uploads.
