The Transformers title is not what I’m syncing and the errors are because I was transferring it to the server whilst scanning the library. The File going to Google is Big Bang Theory. I have not only resynced my account but completely removed everything from the cloud too, in attempts to get this to work.
Also we are all talking about cloud sync…not iPads etc which are working.
As I and others in this post have said…everything was working OK then around the same time last year it just stopped uploading. Seeing as someone above says Dropbox is doing the same thing I can only assume its an issue with the Plex Server software.
I see this is happening on Linux and Windows Server too.
@ChuckPA I thought you already have submitted a bug as you were able to reproduce the issue with my logs? What was the result of that bug report?
Thanks for jogging my memory.
I checked and there is no update on the bug .
@ChuckPA Thanks for looking up the bug report.
Any way to increase the priority of the bug fix because now it is effecting a larger user base and given the amount of time that this has been broken (since last November), it is understandable that many are getting frustrated.
I can follow up on it on Monday when everyone is in the office. I do not have direct influence over how Engineering prioritizes their tasking.
Im the same cant upload to google drive anymore.
I’m having the same problem.
i’m having the same problem too…
probably unrelated… but i unlinked, relinked my unlimited google drive, clicked edit and set plex cloud to use unlimited space as i had it set before. i noticed that the summary doesn’t show it as unlimited as it used to.
@ChuckPA any news on this ?
@ChuckPA Would appreciate some kind of follow up. Thanks.
@ChuckPA any updates, I’m also still impacted by this issue.
Just updated to latest version released today (Plex Media Server 1.11.1.4730). Looks like the cloud sync feature has been looked at. This time, it doesn’t even try and sync anything.
It just shows “There was a problem syncing this media. Try again” almost instantly after adding the item to sync.
To me this is starting to look like Plex is deliberately blocking this feature and not being transparent to its paying users about it.
I am not sure why they are still advertising the Cloud Sync feature (Plex pass only), when it hasn’t worked for 3 months. This is deliberately misleading new customers to a feature that doesn’t exist.
Update:
No they haven’t looked at the issue. I just re-auth google and it doesn’t give the error anymore, but still doesn’t upload after transcoding.
I can also confirm the latest release does not fix the issue for me, Mine are all still stuck waiting to upload still
It seems that no one is currently trying to fix anything, because everyone is busy adding unwanted features. Thanks for the great lack of support Plex!
i’m having the same problem too…
Latest Plex update (1.11.1.4753) doesn’t fix this issue.

Confirm. Still broken. Seriously, what the hell am I paying for?
Latest Plex update (1.11.1.4760) still doesn’t fix the issue. The last two versions have a lot of fixes, so it looks like they are working through some kind of backlog after releasing that PlexVR app.
To bad Plex Pass only features don’t get any sort of priority.
Window 10 Pro x64
PMS Version 1.9.6.4429
I am having the exact same issue. I have removed everything from Cloud Sync and deauthorized dropbox. I then relinked drop box and put one movie in my movie folder. The file was transcoded successfully. Once done it just sits on “Waiting to be uploaded”. I have rebooted, etc. I am happy to post my logs but it seems like you have more than one example of this issue.
Same issue here, with my PMS in a WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra with version 1.10.1.4602 and trying to sync with google
My brother has the same too, but with his PMS in a computer with Windows 10 and trying to sync with google or dropbox
Could you please increase the priority of this issue?
Thanks
