Codec issue

Server Version#: 1.3.8
Player Version#:1.43.1.10611

I’ve been having this issue on some file for a little while.
Last time it happened, it suddenly started working after i spent 5 hours researching to fix it and slowly drifting into madness.

I’ve tried to manually download and put the codec into the right folder.
I’ve tried deleting everything inside the codec folder.
I’ve tried upgrading and downgrading the server.
I’ve switched from the HexOS plex install to a docker container i manually created.
I’ve switched back since and no matter what i do i keep getting screwed by this error coming around and going away without notice.

going to the url from the request manually on my browser i either get a xml that seem to show everything is fine or this :

Can you guys help me fix this.
I dont think its on my side since its a clean install and permission are working since other codec download and work juste fine.

Above error code means you are rate limited, as in too many attempts?
Maybe grap a Pizza, and then try again afterwards

this has been happening for a couple of days.
It should be a one time thing, grabbing the codec and installing it.
It wouldn’t be rate limited if it would work correctly.
I grabbed these log today after a reinstall of the platform.

i think i finally found the issue. i had to put every folder used by plex in the dataset to a pass-through acl. I dont fully understand why since the app was able to download the codec but failed extracting it even it it had full acces and execute permission.
