I have a Collection set to “Hide items in this collection.” My Movies library setting is set to “Hide collections but show their items.” To be clear, my items are not in any other collections, so there is no conflict of settings there. The library default setting seems to be superseding the Collection setting, which should not be the case. The individual collection’s settings should supersede the library default.
However, when I set the library default to “Hide items that are in collections,” the individual setting works as intended. This is a reasonable interim solution; I just need to make sure all my other Collections are set to “Hide this collection but show its items” instead of “library default,” since the default now is to hide all items in collections. This works as designed.
Please fix the relationship between Collection setting “Hide this collection but show its items” and the library default setting “Hide collections but show their items.”
