I have many collections setup in Plex - some of them are set to sort by release date, others by title. This generally works without issue. The problem that I’m now facing is that on collections that are sorted by release date, if I try to simply play the entire collection, it will still play in alphabetical order.
It seems like the sort order for displaying the titles in the collection and the sort order for playback aren’t the same, when they ought to be. As I recall, this wasn’t an issue earlier in the year, I was able to play the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe prior to Endgame, for example, in release order with no problem. Now, when I hit Play, it starts with Ant-Man when it should be starting with Iron Man. Is it possible that this got broken in an update sometime in the last several months? Is there something I’m doing wrong?
