I’m running Plex Media Server 1.19.5.3112 , collections are created but movies aren’t added to them. I cannot edit movies to add them to the existing collections either.
The example is Clerks. The collection is there but as you can see, 0 movies are in it.
I tried manually adding them to the collection, but no dice. I have add collections using TMDB information enabled.
I scanned the files, emptied trash, and refreshed the metadata to try and fix it. No dice.
What am I doing wrong?
do you have a minimum number of movies in a collection set to 3
I don’t know where to set that. I’ll look for that setting when I get home.
I’d appreciate it if you share where to find the setting if you know it.
Just noticed your not on that version that introduced that limit…

Check the advance settings for that library and see what you have collections set at.
Ah, I was just looking for the setting and didn’t find it. I noticed that some collections have 1 film, so it couldn’t have been that setting.
I did just move my Plex install from Mac to a Linux docker container, and I haven’t removed the old library paths yet. I’ll remove them , scan the movie library, and refresh metadata again.
As far as settings, the movie library has
“Use collection info from The Movie Database” checked
“show collections and their items” selected.
