Collections aren't showing up on Plex on Android TV

Agreed, hopefully it gets fixed soon, I recently noticed it happening on my Fire TV Cube and saw this topic

Yep hopefully it does is very important is a huge bottleneck on my end and it feels like plexus incomplete without it depresses me

just letting everyone know I figure it out I have managed home users and they can see the collections underneath just my account can’t the admin and it’s weird too cuz I even deleted my server from my account and re-add it in and I still can’t but all the managed users can see the collections under the selected video if it has movies in its collection it’s weird

let’s have an update to fix the main users account please from showing proper collections underneath a video that you select and scrolling down under reviews and sang in The collection but please contain all movies that are in that collection not only just 10

A fix for this issue is in the pipeline. It will be in one of the next releases.

Maybe you need to tell the team again because obviously they didn’t fix it and the new update just caused this problem still to linger collections not showing under reviews unless you’re using another user that you’ve created the account and first of all slowing down the app for the Android phone just to find your server and the Nvidia shield now taking time to load all your media it’s a really annoying if you’ve already found it it’s fast but it does if you exit Plex app itself is started from a cold boot the Plex app then it has to search for a minute when it never had to do this as soon as I did the new update it started doing it from to my server and the phone is still doing it since you guys did the phone update for the Android phone it’s been doing it in this new update for the Android phone that came out today did nothing to fix it

Okay I appreciate you getting back to me but there’s one other thing ever since this new update came out my Nvidia shield now takes longer to find my media and it happened as soon as I updated to the new thing and when you guys were having that server issue on your guy’s side once you guys fixed it for the app for the phones on Android at least I don’t know I don’t have an iPhone but it’s been slower to find my media one before was instant and I was hoping this to update that came out today to fix that but nope but now the shield has the slow thing like that after the new update can you tell them that used to be instant when I log into the web interface it’s still instant Eve whether I’m on my network or off it

Because this fix seems to need still more time (until version 7.31) I restored the pre-installed APP on the Nvidia Shield. This way I have this feature back until the developers will provide a fix :slight_smile:

I don’t mean to sound dire, but I’m pretty stunned that this feature has been broken for this long as it makes the admin account (i.e., your most ardent users) mostly useless for one of your top devices (nvidia shield). When can we realistically expect this fix to be available?

The issue has been resolved for me ever since I updated the app on my Shield to 7.31 like BigWheel said it would be above. Are you updated to this version or newer and still experiencing the problem?

7.31 is a beta build right now. it is not out for everyone yet.

For me it is hard to understand too that an important feature like this one takes a so long time to be fixed. It already worked so what takes so much time to fix it?

Thank you for bringing the feature back. Just got the version 7.31 offered to install and now everything works again.
