If understand the question, and I know it’s not directed to me, it doesn’t matter if there is “Tidal Content” or not. In my Disney Collection, Mary Poppins shows two albums available, and the Collections from both libraries show up. The movie, Sword in the Stone, has no related Tidal content, but still shows collections.
It’s not a Shield TV, but every piece of info I can find indicate it’s a certified Android TV device, not a phone app running in TV mode.
I’ve been testing for the last 36 hours - fighting through the FireTV Game Controller Debacle (still not cured - no matter what I try) - and now I can’t make the FireTV misbehave in the Collection Department.
Never had Tidal engaged.

Actually, it is a valuable data point, showing that it doesn’t affect every user. Which unfortunatley makes it more difficult to pinpoint the cause of the bug.
here’s another wrinkle - I checked for updates on Google Play Store, and Plex was in the list. I updated the app (even though it had been updated just the other day) and now I can’t see collections unless they have Tidal related content.
I’ll try disabling Tidal again and the other options later on when I have a bit more time to see what happens now
Okay everyone listen carefully this is the old Android TV update before it was replaced with the new one that’s been around for a while and it showed the collections underneath the movie that you selected that was in a collection then with the new update the added reviews right between the movie you’ve selected in the collection that that movie is in underneath this is an old picture I had to show you that they used to have it I wish I took it up the new version but I did nothing of the change it settings or nothing so it isn’t setting so get that out of your head
Okay everyone I uninstalled the update on the Android TV for NVIDIA SHIELD for plex and guess what you can see the collections again underneath here’s a look
Just letting everyone know to it was on 4 days ago before that new update came out when I always update all my servers and my shield every time a new Plex update comes out whether or not I know it sucks this is the problems from just letting people know if they tell the moderator to fix it
I installed the latest Plex Server update (Version 1.18.7.2438) and this issue persists… Suggested content on the pre-play screen is still missing when using Plex app on the Nvidia Shield.
Yeah I already have that one too but it’s not that it’s the actual Android TV update for NVIDIA SHIELD that’s where it’s messed up nothing to do with really the software is it works fine all the other devices just the Android one 4 Plex on Nvidia shield
thanks for the heads up maybe with more devices with the problem will fix it it’s annoying having to back out to watch the next movie in your thing or four people on your thing as in Plex picking a movie and not knowing there’s a collection to that movie if you just recently added it
