Collections sorting

It’s been a little while since I’ve used Plex and I’m at a loss for how to sort a collection alphabetically rather than by date. It seems like an incredibly obvious thing to want to do and should be easy, but it’s not. I can sort my library by any number of metrics, but collections cannot be?
So to give you a use case scenario, I like to create a separate collection of movies that are kid appropriate so I’ve selected all of the movies that I would be OK with my son watching. It would be really useful to have them sorted alphabetically rather than start with Snow, White and end with Ruby, Gilman teenage Kraken.
Either I’m overlooking something obvious or Plex is because this is absolutely unacceptable that I can’t sort a collection

Edit the collection (pencil icon) → Advanced → Collection Order

You can also have custom sorts. See Customizing Collections in the Collections support document.

Thank you. That was easy and kind of obvious once I knew where to look.

I wonder if you can help me with something I’m not sure is possible. There seems to be three options for whether or not collections are viewable in the main library, but is it possible to Have some collections be visible and others not?

For example, I would like the movies in my kids collection to be visible in the main library, but I would like the collection of music videos to not be in the main library.

I thought maybe I could categorize them as something other than movies but that doesn’t seem to be working either

You can override your library collection visibility preferences for each collection. To do that, edit a collection, go to its advanced tab and configure it to deviate from the library preferences.

That being said, you can’t hide both, the collection and its items.
