Combining movies in multiple languages in one library

I’ve been searching for a while looking for a possible solution in Plex or in a plugin, and as far as I can tell what I want is frustratingly not possible in Plex, but I have to try and ask here before I give up.

My scenario is simple, I would think. I’m Norwegian, so I have Norwegian movies, in addition to loads and loads of English movies. I also got some kid-friendly movies that have a Norwegian audio track. (oh and also Swedish and Danish movies)
I want the Norwegian movies to be displayed with their proper Norwegian title and metadata, and I would also want the movies with a Norwegian audio-track to be displayed with their Norwegian titles and metadata on a “For kids” user.

The current solution I can find is to keep the movies in separate folders, and add them as separate libraries and chose “Norwegian” as the language of the library.
The problem here is that now all Norwegian movies are moved away from the rest of the collection, they are now a separate menu entry in the player, I don’t want that. It’s just a bad experience having to navgiate out from the main collection and into the Norwegian collection to find the Norwegian movies.

I want the ability to have some form of “metalibrary” that combines multiple libraries in one view. All I want on the main menu is simply “Movies” and “TV-Shows”.
Does there exist any such solution? Maybe a plugin or something?

You can set the metadata language for individual movies in the Advanced tab of that respective movie. I have my library setup in German and changed some of my English-only items to be displayed in English.

If you want different languages for the same items, you’ll need to keep them in multiple libraries (though no need to duplicate the files).
There’s a feature suggestion to allow the metadata to be downloaded in accordance to the language preferences of individual users and show the movie titles / metadata according to that.

I don’t have that many movies I’d need to do it with, so I guess I’ll just accept that. Not a real solution though, just a workaround for something that should be more properly supported.
