Commercials on news feed stream?

In the last week, if I go into the news feed and watch a stream of clips… between EVERY clip we now have a commericial for wireless… “Carpet shows – now that’s not right” — AFTER EVERY CLIP… doesn’t mater if the news clip is 10 seconds, or 2 minutes… between every news clip is a wireless commercial… same wireless commercial over and over and over and over and over…

The commercial is longer than the news clips in some cases. For 20 minutes of watching the channel, I saw that commercial 19 times in 20 minutes… I guarantee you – I will never use that company after being forced to watch that commercial 19 times in 20 minutes!!!

I don’t mind an occasional clip – but this is ridiculous… I’ve stopped using the news feature on plex as I don’t have the time to watch the same commercial over and over and over… and over.

Any solution? is this a bug? This can’t be intentional… it has the opposite effect of a commercial…

Which Plex client type and software versions are you using?

Mainly the windows based client on my desktop. I haven’t checked the others.

Doesn’t do it on Android --hmmm… I don’t know what version it is… not sure where to find the version… but it’s the windows desktop client.

Sorry, there are currently 3 different available on Windows.
Is it the web app app.plex.tv
or is it Plex Media Player
or is it Plex for Windows?

OK, can you compare to other client types? To rule out a client-specific issue?

Ijust did it on android and web and it works fine… seems to be just this platform for me.
