Complete reinstall on new system

Server Version#: none/Unknown
Player Version#: none/unknown

The system that my PLEX server was running on crashed and is unrecoverable. Nothing was saved from the harddrive.

Everything I’ve been reading is about migrating to a new system.
I don’t have anything to migrate but want to keep my same “user” name etc that should all be setup in the “webapp” vs. locally. (if I understand this correctly)

So what steps should I take to rebuild on a completely new system with no backup to migrate?
It seems obvious that I might just install from scratch as a new user.
But is that the right thing to do since I do have an “account” already?
Should I just install the Plex Media Server and follow the setup wizard in the browser?
thanks!

Yes, and DO NOT use a new user, since you then would end up loosing Plex Pass benefits.
When browsing to https://app.plex.tv/desktop simply sign in as you normally do, and it should prompt you to claim a new server

Good NIGHT that was easy. smh Rebuilding the data now.
Thanks!
