Is there a config file or a way to configure where the initial recordings are going? i.e. not in the .grab folder where TV shows reside? say frocing from c:.grab to c: emp\ .grab?
Why does it matter if they are in a grab folder in the recording folder or in a emp.grab as you indicated. They are both on the same drive in your example so not sure of the advantage.
You can have multiple storage locations added to a library. I have several added to my TV Shows library, one of which is a separate drive I use for just recordings, G:\TV_DVR. As part of my post processing files are moved from G: to another drive F: that is in the same TV Shows library.
I simply created a Symlink in order to initially record to my SSD in order to get faster postprocessing times
