"Configure" not working on WD Home Cloud

Trying to set up my father in law’s Plex server on his WD Home Cloud, but after you click on configure, “This page isn’t working” appears on Chrome, with blank pages appearing on Firefox and Safari.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Cheers!

Seeing the same thing. Just got a MyCloud Home. Installed Plex as detailed and when I click the “Configure” button, I get a very long link that goes nowhere. Dead pages. Anyone have any solutions out there? Is this a PLEX issue? Or a WD MyCloud HOME issue?

also me with Catalina 10.15.3 is a big problem with my cloud home and Plexiglas connection

I got the same problem with my WD My Cloud Home, Plex configuration. I’m able to see newly generated Plex folders in my cloud home web app, but I can not access the Plex configuration. I’m just getting dead links on Chrome and IE. Is this a Plex or a WD issue?

Same here!!! Hello Plex… or any other kind person with knowledge.
Thanks

Me too, not sure how to deal with this. It was working on every device except one TV so I rebooted. The server wouldn’t come online to any Plex device after that. So I removed the server from my plex account now I can’t put it back on there and am getting all the errors listed above.

“10 minute later update”

I got it to work after I made sure I logged off of the Plex dashboard before hitting configure in the WD dashboard for Plex. Then it directed to Plex properly and found the server.

Hello! acquired wd my cloud home and ran into this problem, as you have (when you click configure, a new long tab opens in the browser and nothing happens). I tried a lot of everything, but thanks to the study of the forums I came to one working combination, I hope it will help you!

You must first log out of the plex account, as described above, but insert the most into the browser http: // [Local Plex Media Server IP Address]: 32400 / web
(e.g. http://192.168.1.25:32400/web) Taken from here - https://support.plex.tv/articles/200288666-opening-plex-web-app/

And finally it worked perfectly !!!

I’m having the same issue as above…when I click configure i get

 This page isn’t working

prod-8ba81160b4a2ae3.mycloud.com** is currently unable to handle this request.

 HTTP ERROR 502

I tried entering: http: // [Local Plex Media Server IP Address]: 32400 / web and I got the following error:

This site can’t be reached **10.0.1.xx** refused to connect.

Its super frustrating when you’re literally supposed to be able to click a button and it doesn’t work…any other suggestions?

Hello! try:

  1. to exit the PLEX account on all devices before trying to log in to http: // [Local Plex Media Server IP Address]: 32400 / web
  2. try other browsers or try logging in from your phone
  3. try disabling PLEX from mycloud.com, then rebooting it and installing PLEX again
  4. try to leave only a computer on the local network and WD My Cloud Home

Hi
I have the same issue, can someone help me. I exit the plex account, i have also remove my account, and i can´t configure plex in my cloud home.

Has anyone figured out a solve. I’m experiencing the same issues. I’ve tried logging out of everything. I’ve used another browser and even a different PC on my network.

Nothing. This is rather frustrating

This is what seemed to work for me :

  1. Logged out from Plex on the web app on Chrome.
  2. Disabled Plex on the WD My Cloud Home.
  3. Rebooted WD My Cloud Home.
  4. in chrome browser, typed this URL : http://:32400/web
  5. It takes you to the plex configuration settings page

I found this very annoying. the worst part was that it does not appear to even be needed.

I followed the step of logging out of everything - plex desktop. mycloud etc.

When I logged back on to mycloud a plex folder had appeared and when I checked the plex app under the do more folder I found that I could access the configure pages.

The configure pages don’t appear to do much other than allow you to log in to plex and give you a sales pitch to upgrade to premium.

Pretty frustrating if you’ve been pulling your hair out!
